Next IPL season to be held from April 4 to May 27
New Delhi (AP) - India's cricket board says it will organize the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League from April 4 to May 27 next year.
IPL chairman Chirayu Amin announced the dates of the 54-day tournament in a statement on Monday and promised to provide the full schedule soon.
The tournament, which is played between 10 franchises boasting several top players from around the world, will feature 74 matches in all.
Chennai Super Kings, led by India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will be the two-time defending champions in the fifth edition of the IPL, whose past winners also include Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers.

After Successful movie “Bunny”, Hit combination V.V.Vinayak – Allu Arjun teams up again for Badrinath in a commercial flick to be produced by hit maker Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts. Tammana will pair for the first time with Allu Arjun. Better not wasting our time lets get on with review…
Story:
Bheeshma Narayan (Prakash Raj) trains the youth to protect the Indian temples.Badrinath (Allu Arjun) gets trained under him and gets the responsibility of Badrinath temple. Alakananda (Tamanna) who is a non believer of god,comes to temple with her grandfather.She falls in love with Badrinath.The rest of the movie is about how he wins in his love and also keep his word to master.
Performances:
Allu Arjun seen at his best and you couldn’t have asked more, his dance moves were incredible. Tamannah is in top form in this movie. She is definitely a pleasure to watch for her glamorous role. Prakash Raj looked good and acted well in Bheesma Narayan role. Some comedy scenes enacted by Brahmanandam & Krishna Bhagwan were admirable but doesn’t keep you amused for long. Kelly Dorjee, Tanikella Bharani, Kovai Sarala, Dharamvarapu Subramanyam delivered what they were asked to.
M.M.Keeravani sound track for this film is distinctly liked in the background score that upgraded a few scenes in the movie. Allu Aravind has spent lavishly on Badrinath, and it can be seen visually in different locations. Ravi Varman’s cinematography and Anand Sai’s art work need a special mention. Editor should have taken extra care as some scenes seem to jump. V.V.Vinayak attempted a varied concept but should have taken care of the execution part.

*When all were wearing traditional dresses in badrinath our hero especially wears jeans.
*Where were all the cops in Badrinath, are they removed from their jobs after appointing Allu arjun as Saviour of Badrinath.
* Allu Arjun at amaranth fight sequence, where fight master tries to prove sword is mightier than Ak47′s.
Overall:
First half of the film is pretty slow and is average… The movie falls flat in the second half due to predictable screenplay and Climax. Over all, it’s a below average flick that can be watched at your leisure.

These days, Allu Arjun is quite busy promoting his forthcoming film ‘Badrinath’, which is going to release on June 10th. As part of promotion he visited Bangalore on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media he said, “There are some speculation about me and Ram Charan acting together. If all goes well, we will certainly act together. We worked very hard for the film ‘Badrinath’. This movie will be released in Malayalam along with Telugu in the same day. To get the natural feel, we erected the Badrinath set in Himalayas and shot the film by withstanding too cold weather. Vinayak garu became sick, yet he shot the film with great patience. For my role Samurai, I was trained in martial arts in Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. I was busy with this film for the past one year. I will let you know about my new project very soon.” He concluded saying not to compare ‘Badrinath’ with the block buster film ‘Magadheera’.

Court stays PCB proceedings against Afridi
The Sindh High Court has stayed the PCB disciplinary committee's proceedings against former captain Shahid Afridi, and asked the board and the Pakistan sports ministry to appear before it on June 9. The court's decision comes after Afridi had filed a petition challenging the validity of the sanctions imposed on him by the PCB.
"We filed a petition at the Sindh High Court against the PCB's disciplinary committee and the punishments," Syed Ali Zafar, Afridi's lawyer, told ESPNcricinfo. "The court has suspended the committee [hearing] and PCB is bound to abide by the High Court. They have been asked to appear before the High Court the day after tomorrow and the punishments stand null and void as of now."
This does not mean, however, that Afridi can play yet for Hampshire, increasingly the main objective of his actions. The Pakistan board will appear at the hearing on Thursday. "We have been informed that an order has been passed and even if a certified copy of it isn't received in time, we will not hold the disciplinary hearing and respect the order," Taffazul Rizvi, the board's legal advisor, told ESPNcricinfo. "I will be there on June 9 assisting the high court to reach a just a legal decision on the matter."
Afridi's legal team had, until today, refused to be drawn on whether their client would appear at the PCB's hearing tomorrow, or whether they would seek justice in the court of law. Yesterday, the PCB allowed Afridi to have legal representation inside the disciplinary hearing, one of his demands, but it has not stopped him from going to the courts.
Legal observers say this step may work against Afridi himself, for there is a chance that proceedings drag on for some time. It is also expected that the court will concentrate on whether or not the PCB followed its own process correctly in issuing a showcause notice to Afridi and suspending his central contract and revoking his NOCs, rather than taking on the role of a disciplinary committee itself.
This is now the second time in recent years that a high-profile player has taken the PCB to court to challenge a disciplinary punishment; in 2008 Shoaib Akhtar challenged a five-year ban handed out to him by the board under then chairman Nasim Ashraf. He eventually returned to the side, retiring earlier this year.
This dispute has swiftly risen to overtake even that one, which also required political intervention ultimately. Afridi has been in touch with and gathered support from various political figures and was given a strong show of public support when he landed at Karachi airport this weekend. The board has stuck to its stance so far, insisting the issue remain an internal, disciplinary matter.
The dispute between Afridi and the national board began when Afridi publicly revealed his disagreements with coach Waqar Younis after the tour of the West Indies. A three-member disciplinary committee had been set to hold hearings on the dispute at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on June 8 before the court passed it's order.
Afridi had announced his retirement from international cricket after being replaced by Misbah-ul-Haq as one-day captain, while simultaneously attacking unnamed members of the board. The PCB responded by suspending his central contract and withdrawing his no-objection certificate to play county cricket for Hampshire, as well as putting together a showcause notice detailing several breaches of the code of conduct.

Now, their combo is set to repeat their magic once again with another interesting project. The film is the remake of TFI’s evergreen blockbuster Dana Veera Soora Karna, where the legendary NTR played three different roles. NTR.Jr will reprise the role of Sr.NTR in the remake version.
Speaking on this director Vinayak informed, “I liked Dana Veera Soora Karna and had a desire of remaking it. I felt that NTR.Jr is apt for the role after watching Tarak in the role of Yama in Rajamouli’s directorial Yama Donga. I’m in plans to remake the film and it will go on sets soon.”

Siddarth’s 180 release on June25th
Siddarth upcoming movie 180 movie is all set to hit the screens on 25th of this month.This movie will be releasing in Telugu and Tamil languages on the same day.Nithya Menon and Priya Anand are playing the lead roles in the movie beside Siddarth.70 percent of the shooting was shot in United States and Malaysia.
The trailers of the movie were released few weeks back which got a good response from the audience.The quality of the trailers was the highlight and also the suspense created was good.It created a curiosity to the person.
BADRINATH CENSOR TALK
Badrinath movie has finished its censor board formalities in which Badrinath was given “A” certificate by the board members.The movie is a fully action packed movie with heavy violence so the board has given “A” certificate.The members has asked the producer to cut 3 scenes from the movie in which violence is extreme.
According to the report from the censor office the news is that the first half of the movie is completely the narration of the story and comedy mixed in it with highlight songs and coming to the second half the movie completely taken into the subject which is presented extremely good by the director VV VInayak.THe highlights of the movie will be Allu Arjuns dance and VV Vinayak direction and last but not the least the script.
The movie will be releasing on 10th of this month and the production house has made all the preperations for the grand release of the movie in theatres.The movie is releasing in 1000 theatres in 3 languages on the same day.
